The Centre for Food Technology Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Zentrum für Lebensmitteltechnologie Mecklenburg-Vorpommern gGmbH) have been founded in 1996 as a service and consulting company by the city and the University of Neubrandenburg in order to be independently active for the food industry. The objective is to offer a comprehensive service in a modern environment, which goes far beyond the analytical range and offers expert solutions for the surrounding issues. It is the goal to work with our partners in a very narrow, shaped by personal contacts cooperation to guarantee success. The Centre is a regional scientific competence centre for the food industry, and as such is a high-class incubator for people setting up their own business who can benefit from outside expert knowledge and the existing infrastructure. Close contact with scientists in the Department of Food and Organic Produce Technology at Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences ensures that theory is connected to practice.
