Corona Treatment Systems and Plasma Treatment Systems

Treatment of metal surfaces plays an enormous role in extending the life of metals, such as in automotive bodies and construction materials, an often seen application is cleaning of stainless steel bodies for windows, etc.
The unique Plasma and Corona technologies improve wettability of plastic materials with low surface energy, i.e. polyolefin materials, PE, PP and many others, by raising its surface energy and improve adhesive characteristics by creating multiple bonding sites. Our technologies can also be used for metal surface treatment. The most advanced and successful methods of surface treatment are based on high voltage discharge in air at atmospheric pressure (Corona Treatment/Plasma Treatment), or under vacuum (Plasma treatment). Both Corona Treatment and plasma treatment is used to raise surface tension on plastics and plastic surface; Plasma Treatment is also used as a cleaning process to remove organic contamination from plastic, rubber and metal surfaces.

The Tantec machines are also build for surface treatment of metals.
