Registered in 1991, PLAZMA Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is run by entrepreneurial founder team of Hughen and Arundhati.
Based on a technology of unlimited growth befitting the needs of the present and the future, Plazma is always looking beyond metal cutting into other application in Metal Welding, Medical Sciences, and Material Waste Disposal and so on.
The President of India conferred the ‘National Invention Award’ on Mr. Hughen for his innovative design in 1994. The United States of America granted US Patent for his invention of the Plasma Cutting Torch in year 2000 for his first Indian Patent within Welding/Cutting Industry. The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India Undertaking also certified PLAZMA as the ‘In-House Research & Development unit for Plasma Research’. In year 2000, Mr. Hughen won the CMTI-PMT ‘Best product design’ award for his “RoboPlazma™ system” instituted by the Indian Machine Tool Association for 2 years consecutively as “best product design” award in year 2004 and 2006 for his design of “RoboPlazma™ System”.
Present customer base is spread over 1000 Users comprising of large Public Sectusaor Units, Giant Indian Corporate, Multinationals and small as well as medium sectors all India, USA, Africa, Kuwait, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Middle East, South Africa and other countries.

The RoboPlazma™ Universal System is a world first double work zone with integrated moving enclosure for various 2D and 3D cutting & welding. The System is capable of processing Structural steel for I beams, Channels, Angles, RHS, Square Tubes, Bulb bars, Pipe and plates (up to 30mtr length through separate order). It is manufactured with highest quality standard components such as FANUC Robots, Precision Rails, Kemper, Germany fume extraction and Plazma source integrated with a user friendly RoboSwift™ Software interface that allows to create different programs with minimal operator intervention. All Robot axes are Servo driven for precision movement.

The System is capable of welding Structural steel, subassemblies up to 30 mtr. length through separate order). RoboPlazma™ System is manufactured with highest quality standard components such as FANUC Robots, Precision Rails, Kemper, Germany fume extraction, Fronius welding source and integrated with a user friendly RoboSwift™ Software interface that allows to create different programs with minimal operator intervention. In the past Robots have always been difficult to program. Labor intensive manual teaching or complicated off-line programming with numerous steps was required to create a robot program. In addition robots are not very accurate over their entire working envelope. This means the resulting motion from the robot is error prone. RoboSwift ™ is revolutionary software that works inside the controller to correct the errors of the robot. An in-depth understanding of the robot and the plasma cutting process has resulted in RoboSwift™. The operator has to have zero robot programming knowledge. Multiple inputs like DSTV files are imported into RoboSwift™. These files are then combined with the internal plasma cutting process and robot motion knowledge to output a ready to go execute program.
